The committee have agreed to fund the purchase of a new
state-of-the-art projector for the Chapman Studio with an expected cost of over £40k. This will enable the venue to show
all the latest blockbusters at the earliest possible date and fully supports the venue in its plan for the future.
Such a commitment defines our fund raising objective for the next few years and will provide a visible example of the support given by members of FOLP.
With this in mind the first payment will be made shortly and will total £7k. This will allow the financing of the project to proceed.
The Friends of Lowther are committed to helping the Lowther Theatre maintain and deliver the highest standard of entertainment on the Fylde Coast and this the latest investment in high technology will keep the theatre at the leading edge of what is possible.
